Alta Verapaz, located in northern Guatemala, is the land of the White Nun orchid - our national flower - and the resplendent quetzal, our national bird. It's a subtropical paradise where you can enjoy a variety of climates, rivers and waterfalls, caverns, legends, and ancient rituals and traditions, which comprise the verdant heart of Guatemala.

The topography and climates of Alta Verapaz produce a diversity of forests and crops, among which cardamom, coffee and tea stand out, as well as many ornamental plants both native and introduced.

La Floresta Ornamentales, S.A. - our nursery - is located in this richly diverse ecological region.
